Martel Management, Inc., a privately held Accounts Recovery Management Agency, provides debt collection services in a business-to-business environment, for private and public sector businesses ranging from government to medical service providers, to large retail and food chains, to utilities and communications companies.

First Certified in 1999 by The State of Ohio's Minority Business Development Center, Martel is The State's only minority-owned (i.e., Hispanic) and administered accounts recovery organization.

With its shift in business status, Martel's primary focus is toward serving as a Compliance Partner by collecting unpaid debt for business and service organizations that receive funding from Federal Financial Assistance Programs (FFAP) like Medicaid, Medicare and, The Children's Health Insurance Program. These FFAP providers are institutions or programs covered under the edict of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended and The United States Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) and, they include extended care facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, mental health centers, family health centers and clinics, alcohol and drug treatment centers and, pharmacies.

Martel's Compliance Partnership services and relations extends to other Federal Domestic Assisted Program and Service Providers whose funds emanate from, but are not limited to, The Departments of Agriculture, Administration for Children and Families U. S. Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development and The Department of Energy.

Traditionally, FFAP's have been extremely limited in their access to doing business with minority-owned and operated and, small disadvantaged business concerns. Thus, FFAP service providers have far too often been unable to meet their Federally Mandated Compliance Guidelines or fulfill their plans in the areas of Contracting and Subcontracting with Minority-Owned, Disadvantaged Businesses as defined by the Federal Government.

Given such a limitation, FFAP service providers, during a Federal Compliance Review, are subject to being ineligible or, considered as an unsuccessful candidate for funding and refunding opportunities.

As a disadvantaged, minority owned and managed business, Martel has a healthy regard for the tremendous value of diversity that exists in our society.
